So how did it all begin?
Business Evening Network was launched by old friends and business acquaintances Mandy Cardwell and Martin Day.
They wanted to create a network of people who would grow their businesses by sharing information and best practice, as well as recommending the products and services of the whole group.

Mandy is joint owner of Adminzone Ltd, a Farington based business with more than 350 clients across Lancashire, offering Sage products and training, bookkeeping and a range of virtual office services including telephone answering. Before launching Adminzone three years ago, Mandy ran her own Sage training business for 16 years.
A seasoned networker, Mandy wanted to escape the crack of dawn starts and rigid structure of many traditional networking groups – and when she couldn’t find what she wanted, set up her own!
“I’m delighted by the early success of Business Evening Network and it’s fantastic to see so much business already being passed between our members.
We’ve achieved so much in the first four months and I’d like to emphasise that we will be putting a lot back into the groups, putting on free training and other events so that members can really feel they are getting value for money.” Mandy Cardwell
Martin runs his own holiday company from his Poulton le Fylde home – M R Day Travel Consultancy –offering bespoke holiday and corporate travel
packages and finding the best prices for flights, accommodation, car hire and attraction tickets.
Business Evening Network has been Martin’s first foray into the world of networking and he has been amazed by the contacts and friends he has already made through the Leyland and Chorley groups. As well as leading the weekly meetings, Martin handles most of the ‘behind the scenes’ administration of both groups.
“Our aim is for all members to succeed and we are committed to making that happen.” Martin Day
